Super Mario

"It's a-me, Mario!" First introduced as characters in an Arcade Game called Mario Bros. in 1983, Mario and Luigi were dark-moustached plumbers, who went down to investigate the sewers and had to fight enemy creatures on their way. The game was later developed and released by Nintendo, and today, Mario Bros is a hugely popular brand as a game for the Nintendo DS and the Nintendo Wii. The latest Mario Bros games feature the old favourites such as Donkey Kong, Yoshi, Bowser , Princess Peach and Mushroom. Some of the most recent titles in the franchise include Mario Kart Wii, Super Mario Galaxy, and Mario & Sonic at the Olympics. Although most games feature Mario and Luigi fighting their way through imaginative worlds, seeing off their enemies, the Super Mario range of entertainment continues to provide children with clean, non-violent fun.
