Well ladies and gentlemen, or should we say boys and girls, what delights have we got for you here?

We will try not to get too raunchy- we did say try!

Get those invitations out to your select band of friends in the style of an open book. Stress that they must come fully dressed in school attire so that there is no mis-understanding. After all your children will be tucked up in bed when your party gets underway but you can “bet your bottom dollar” that they will not be asleep.

Turn the lounge into a school classroom by borrowing a couple of desks and chairs facing the school blackboard. In the corner is another chair with a dunces cap on it awaiting the first offender. The TV has the latest St Trinians film running to add to the atmosphere. There are school exercise books, pens, pencils, rulers and a cane dotted around the room and the school bell waiting to be rung.

As far as food goes how about roast or mashed potatoes with chicken or beef pie and soggy vegetables or baked beans with lots of gravy to be followed by thick rice pudding or ice cream. To drink, either water, orange or blackcurrant juice-just for the meal. Then down to some serious drinking of course, dancing the night away to a selection of music from the 1970’s to the present day.
