The Disney Channel has aired the animation 'Phineas & Ferb' since 1997. It follows the creative adventures of step-brothers Phineas Flynn and Ferb Fletcher, their fun-spoiling sister Candace Flynn and the boys' green pet platypus - Perry. As soon as mum leaves the house, the 2 step-brothers set about an elaborate building project. Meanwhile, Perry has his own adventure as secret spy - Agent P - who goes off top fight the evils of Dr Heinz Doofenshmirtz. Both plots come together at the end of each episode and erase all evidence of Phineas and Ferb's creation - much to the frustration of tale-telling Candace. With a TV movie - Phineas & Ferb: Across the Second Dimension - set for screening in the UK in September 2011, and an animated film in progress, Phineas & Ferb look set for global domination.
