The Harry Potter series consists of 7 titles: Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. The books were written by J.K. Rowling and the first in the series was published in June 1997. The books have all been made into films, each becoming Hollywood Blockbusters. Harry and his friends Hermione Grainger and Ron Weasley attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry together and come across all sorts of adventures seeing them fighting the forces of evil. The stories are full of fantasy, wizardry and fun. We all know of Lord Voldemort, Hagrid, Dumbledore and Professor Snape; the mystical beasts such as the Hippogriff and the Basilisk to encounter; and spells to immerse ourselves in. We have also been brought the joys of Quidditch, Invisibilty Cloaks and the Sorting Hat.
