For this glitzy party theme we are going back to The Roaring Twenties that was a time of prohibition, corruption, gangsters and molls, bootlegging, gambling, organised crime and prostitution. Gangsters were perceived to have women, money, cars and fine clothes and loved to show these things off in the neighbourhood. The Tommy Gun ruled with fast cars driving by restaurants and a barrage of automatic fire would come from the open window of the vehicle cutting down rival gang leaders whilst they dined with their lady. Women came out of their shells in this era as they publicly drank, smoked, and partied into the early hours. They were often known as Flappers. Your venue should have dimmed lighting and posters on the wall of classic cars and famous gangsters such as Al Capone. Silent movies could be playing on the TV along with Jazz music or perhaps great dance music like the Charleston.
