What would we do without our police officers, fire officers, paramedics, doctors and nurses but lets not forget the 4th emergency service-the AA!
When you are going to an Emergency Services Theme party you certainly do not want to be seen by the public walking to the venue otherwise someone may ask you for assistance! So, make sure you park as close as possible to the entrance door of the venue and dash in.
To add to the ambience the venue should have lots of items used by emergency services personnel on display such as handcuffs, truncheon, fireman’s ladder, fireman’s water bucket, pump and hose, stethoscope and bandages to name but a few. How about a blue flashing light outside the entrance door and a police siren inside going off every few minutes? On the walls have pictures of ambulances, police cars and fire engines.
You could arrange for a first aid demonstration by St Johns Ambulance perhaps showing how to correctly give “the kiss of life” to an ill partygoer and carry someone out to the ambulance on a stretcher.
As for the music you can select your favourite bands from years gone by to the pop stars of today and dance away into the early hours.
Here at Party Connection we have a selection of Emergency Services fancy dress costumes and accessories for you to choose from. How about playing cops and robbers and wear a Convict Costume or a Cop costume. We have inflatable handcuffs, plastic handcuffs, truncheon, police whistle and badge and even a flashing police helmet.
